The pre-listing checklist we give every seller

The same short list we hand to every Renwick seller, from paperwork to paint, so the first showing is the strongest one.

Most of what makes a listing succeed happens before the photographer arrives. This is the checklist we send sellers about six weeks out.

Paperwork first

Gather the permits for any work you have done, the sewer scope if you have one, and utility bills for the last year. Seattle buyers ask for all three, and having them ready removes a reason to hesitate.

Fix what a buyer will notice

Sticking doors, dripping faucets and a moss-covered roof read as neglect, even when the house is sound. Handle these before the pre-inspection so the report stays short.

Edit, then stage

Pack about a third of what is in each room, closets included, then let our staging team do the rest. Clear surfaces and good light are what buyers remember from a showing.
